About me
There is no shortage of skill in construction. There is a shortage of access to everything that surrounds the business beneath the build.
I know because I started there. I earned my contractor's license in Oregon ten years ago, expanded across state lines, and built a residential company that has since grown into commercial work. Every part of the business side I had to find on my own.
The people doing the physical work make up most of this industry. They are also the least likely to be taught how to own it. Not for lack of ability — for lack of anyone offering, in a language that felt like theirs.
So I make the things I once needed: instruction, tools and software built around how this trade really works, in English and Spanish, for contractors who were never handed the map.
